Sanctuary) posting this article from the Head Office… This is Part 18 of a
series of articles on Restomod Project for CB1100RC (with the serial number
RCM-282) commissioned by the Dutch company CMS!
車体を 立ち上げるべく、リアサスペンションを 用意・・
採用した 銘柄は、スウェーデンの ＯＨＬＩＮＳ社製
Getting the rear suspension in place to let the machine stand on its own…
And the brand we use is OHLINS made in Sweden.
リアの 足回りを、組み付けて行きます
Let’s assemble the rear suspension system.
如何でしょう・・？ こんな感じです！
How about this…? Looks nice, doesn’t it!
前後の車輪が 取り付けされ、かなり 車体全体のフォルムが 見え始めて来ました！
Getting the front and rear wheels in place, the machine has just started to
take shape, significantly!
一方 こちらは、エンジン部門・・
And here is the engine team…
こちらが 今回 使用する、イギリス ＣＯＳＷＯＲＴＨ社製 ピストンＫＩＴ
This is the COSWORT’s piston kit made in the UK.
エンジンの圧縮比が 上がる為、燃焼室の容積を 測定し、数値を 管理致します
As the engine’s compression ratio might go high, we need to measure the
chamber volume and keep our close eye on the values.
ピストンを 組み付けして・・
Fixing the piston…
シリンダーも、組み付けます！
Also the cylinder to be fixed!
ＲＣＭ－２８２ ＣＢ１１００ＲＣ、ここからは どんどん、バイクが形に なって行く 段階！
オランダ ＣＭＳ社の Ｍｉｋｅさ～んっ！・・
次回 エンジンが完成し、フレームに搭載する 予定ですよ～っ！
From now, it won’t take long until it really gets the blood and the spirit of
the RCM-282 CB1100RC. Hello, Mike (CMS, Netherlands)! We are going to
be done with the engine and mount it on the frame in the next post!!
