series of articles on Restomod Project for CB1100RC (with the serial number
RCM-282) commissioned by the Dutch company CMS!
外装部品を 塗装する 前に、改めて 諸々の作業を 仕上ましょう・・
Before painting the exterior parts, we finish up various other work.
アッパーカウルの ブラケット。 メーターの 取り付け部を 製作してあげます
Upper cowl brackets. Lastly, we make the installation area of the meter.
視認性や デザイン的な バランスを、考慮した位置に 置き・・
Place it at the position considering visibility and design balance…
畔柳に、点付け溶接 してもらいます・・
Ask Kuroyanagi to spot-weld it.
その間 動く事なく、 じっ～っと ガマンします・・ （早く、早く、早くっ！・・ （笑）
In the meantime, hold still, patiently… (Hurry, hurry, hurry! (Laughs)
仮り固定が 出来たので、後は 任せる事に・・
It is temporarily fixed, so I decided to leave the rest of the work to him…
この段階で メーターの視認性 左右の位置関係 など、再チェック
At this stage, check the meter visibility and balanced positioning again.
ここで、型から押し出した ガセットプレート補強材を、造ります
Here, we make gusset plate reinforcement material extruded from die.
メーター取り付け部に、ガセットプレートを 溶接してやり、 補強完了・・
Weld the gusset plate at the meter installation area, and the reinforcement
is complete…
アッパーカウルブラケット、完成です～！
この後、このブラケットも 粉黛塗装を 施します。 塗り上がれば 本組み付けし
周辺部品を どんどん 取り付けて 行くだけ！ 正に ラストスパートです。

ＲＣＭ－２８２ ＣＢ１１００ＲＣ、完成近し！ですよ～っ ♪
Upper cowl brackets are now completed! Later, these brackets will also be
powder coated. Once the coating is finished, it will be mounted for good,
and peripheral parts will just be attached one after another! We are really in
the homestretch. Mike at CMS of the Netherlands! RCM-282 CB1100RC is
near completion!
