オランダ ＣＭＳの ＣＢ１１００ＲＣ、シリアルナンバー ＲＣＭ－２８２ が 完成しました
Hello, there! I’m Nakamura (President and Representative Director of AC
Sanctuary) posting this article from the Head Office… This is Part 27 of a
series of articles on Restomod Project for CB1100RC (with the serial number
RCM-282) commissioned by the Dutch company CMS!
ＲＣＭ－２８２ ＣＢ１１００ＲＣ です・・
This is RCM-282 CB1100RC.
遠く ヨーロッパは オランダから、遥々 海を越え 送られて来た ＣＢ１１００ＲＣ・・
こちらに 到着した時は とにかく 車体全体の 痛みが激しく、これを 再生させるのは
容易では ないな・・ と、感じたものでした・・
From the Netherlands, CB1100RC traveled across the ocean… When it first
arrived here in Japan, the wear and tear of the body was very extensive,
and the restoration works seemed very challenging.
しかしながら 見事、 ＲＣＭ として 再生を 果たし、今こうして 撮影しています
However, lo and behold! The machine has been restored as a RCM and is fit
for a photo session now.
オーバーホール する為の 部品集めが、大変だった エンジン・・
ＣＢ系車輌は 毎回 苦労します・・
The engine was especially tricky, as we needed to look hard for parts to
overhaul it… CB series machines always require extra works.
ＮＩＴＲＯ ＲＡＣＩＮＧ 製 ウェルドクラフト ３Ｄ チタンマフラーの、フォルムと
鈍い輝きが、良いですねぇ・・♪
The dull glitter of Nitro Racing Weldcraft 3D titanium exhaust muffler is so
alluring…
フロント廻りには、ＯＨＬＩＮＳ 倒立フォーク ＦＧ４２４を 用いた、
倒立エクスモードパッケージ・・ カワサキ ＫＺ系用を 加工して 取り付けました
For the front area, an inverted “E x M” package based on Ohlin’s Inverted
Fork FG424 has been mounted… We modified the model originally designed
for Kawasaki KZ to fit it.
リア廻りも、実に ＲＣＭらしい 仕上がり感・・ ＣＢ１１００Ｒは フェアリングが
大きいので、１７インチの ワイドタイヤが、バランス良く 似合います・・♪
The rear area is also coming out nicely, peppered with authentic RCM
flavors… As CB1100R has a large fairing, the 17-inch wide wheels make a
gorgeous match!
今回 意外と 悩んだのが、アッパーカウルの 位置と形状・・
ＲＣ の カウリングは、結構 ＲＤと 違っており、最終的には カウル形状を カット加工し
位置や 角度なども あれこれ 悩んだ末に 決定しました・・
For this machine, the unexpected bottleneck was the position and shape of
the upper cowl. As RC cowling is significantly different from that of RD, it
took us a long time before deciding to cut the cowl edge and fix its position
and angle.
カラーリングも ＣＢ１１００Ｒらしさを 残しつつ、アレンジした デザインに なってます・・
奇抜な 派手さでなく、大人の質感も 大事にする ＲＣＭ 的センスを 強調しました
The coloring retains the gist of original CB1100R while incorporating design
variations. Here, we focused on underlining the personality of RCM series
that values mature quality while playing with outspoken eccentricity.
メーターは 得意の ３連ＴＹＰＥ・・ ヤマハＦＺＲ１０００の 純正部品を 加工して
使用しています。 ＲＣＭ シリアルプレートは、右に・・ 左は 小型の メーター等を
後で 取り付けられる スペースとして、残しておきました
Our specialty, triple-meter assembly… The genuine YAMAHA FZR1000 parts
are modified and used. The RCM serial plate is arranged to the right, and the
left side will be kept for future addition of smaller meters.
現在 ＲＣＭは、海外から 数多く 問い合わせを 頂く様に なりました・・
通関の問題など 克服する課題は 沢山 あるのですが、 海外の皆さんは
とても情熱を 持っており、私達もなるべく 対応出来る様、日々努力を しております
At the moment, RCM is receiving multiple order enquiries from overseas.
Although international orders may have many complex issues, such as
customs clearance, etc., customers are very enthusiastic, so we are trying
our best to meet their expectations.
今回この オランダＣＭＳ社の マシンとて、それらの苦難を 乗り越えた 末に
私達の元に 届いた 車輌でした・・
This machine, belonging to CMS in Netherlands, is no exception.
It journeyed to us after overcoming many challenges.
言葉の壁は ありますが、バイクに対峙する 想いや 情熱は 世界共通の もの・・
故に 成し得たものだと、感じてます。 故に 海外の ＲＣＭでも シリアルナンバーは
共有しています。 この ＲＣＭ－２８２ と言う ナンバーは、このマシン 一台だけに
与えられた ものですから・・
While the language barrier is always there, we all share the same love and
passion for motorbikes across the borders… And I strongly feel this is an
achievement made possible by our shared passion. That is why we share the
RCM serial number with the international orders. This serial number, RCM-
282 is one and only number that exclusively belongs to this machine.
オランダ ＣＭＳ社の Ｍｉｋｅさ～んっ！
本当に お待たせを 致しまして、申し訳ありませんでした～っ！
実はまだこれで 終わりじゃ～ ありません！・・ 次回 コースを使っての 最後仕上げ
ロードテストを 行いますんで、その模様も お見せいたしますね～っ！

long! But actually, this does not mark the end of the restoration work! Our
final process takes place on the road, where we will run the machine and tell
you how it goes!
