ＤＡＥＧ　ＲＣＭ ＰＲＯＪＥＣＴ （Ｌａｓｔ　Ｒｅｐｏｒｔ）

大地と共に 二人で、取り組んで来た、ＲＣＭ－２７６ ＤＡＥＧ スポーツパッケージも

ひとまず ＴＹＰＥ-Ｒ仕様と しての 完成を 果たしました。 そんな訳で今回は、

その姿を きちんと お見せ致します

Hello, everyone. I’m Nakamura, the representative director and president of

Sanctuary’s head office. RCM-276 DAEG Sports Package, which Daichi and I

have been working on, is completed for the time being as the TYPE-R

specification. So, in this blog, I’d like to share with you  all that’s involved.

 

 

ＲＣＭ－２７６　ＤＡＥＧ スポーツパッケージ ＴＹＰＥ-Ｒ です

This is the RCM-276 DAEG Sports Package TYPE-R.

 

 

マフラーはもちろん、ＮＩＴＲＯ ＲＡＣＩＮＧ製 ウェルドクラフト３Ｄチタン エキゾーストを

今回、ＤＡＥＧと 言うマシンに きちんと 装備出来る様、排気ガス規制や

加速騒音規制検査を、しっかり受けた上で リリース致しました

Of course, the muffler is a Weldcraft 3D Titan Exhaust by NITRO RACING.

We released it after it passed the exhaust gas control test and acceleration

noise test so that we can mount it in its best shape to the machine called

DAEG.

 

 

フロントフォークには、スウェーデン ＯＨＬＩＮＳ社製の 倒立サスペンション、

ＦＧ４２４をチョイス・・  専用のキャリパーブラケットや フロントフェンダーが付属される

ＯＨＬＩＮＳ 倒立ＥＸＭパッケージが 同時に開発・・

For the inverted-type front fork, we chose FG42, an inverted-type

suspension by Swedish company OHLINS.The OHLINS inverted EXM Package,

to which the specialized caliper brackets and front fender are added, was

developed at the same time.

 

 

前後ホイールは、イタリア Ｏ・Ｚ ＭＢ社製・・ 現在 世界選手権 採用率ナンバー１

Ｏ・Ｚ レーシングホイールです

Italy’s O ZMB’s wheels are used for both front and rear.  These are currently

the No. 1 racing wheels chosen most frequently in world-scale motorcycle

championships. 

スイングアームは ＲＣＭを支える為の 足回りブランド、ＳＣＵＬＰＴＵＲＥ製

ＤＡＥＧ専用の 単品特注品で、オリジナル形状のスタビライザー材を 溶接で追加・・

The swing arm is a one-of-a-kind swing arm specifically customized for DAEG

by SCULPTURE, which is the brand RCM relies on for the structures around

the leg position.The stabilizer material of our original shape was added by

welding.

 

 

その他にも 様々な部品が、新たに このＤＡＥＧ様にと 開発されました

We also newly developed various other parts for this DAEG.

 

 

製作にあたっての コンセプトは、偉大なカワサキが 生み出した この ＤＡＥＧと言う

名の マシンイメージを、大きく損なわない事！・・   これにつきます 

Our concept in this production is not to distort the original image of the

DAEG, the great machine manufactured by Kawasaki! That’s it!

 

 

カスタムは、華やかな部品を取り付け、派手なペイントで目立たせるだけが

一番ではないと、常々考えています。見た目にも凄い アルミの削り出し部品や、

カラフルな配色で着飾る事は、もちろん綺麗で 魅力ある事だと 思いますが

質実剛健な造りと 仕上がりを目指す ＲＣＭに おいては、そう言った方向性を

重要視していません

I keep thinking that customization is much more than merely attaching

showy components to or painting in loud colors the machine so that it would

stand out. Of course, decorating with visually-appealing parts created by

shaving aluminum or painting in colorful colors can give machines beautiful

and attractive features.But at RCM, we aim to create a simple and  sturdy

finish, and do not place special emphasis on such direction.

 

 

あくまでも、見た目より 中身ある一台・・   そんなストイックさを 追及しました・・

We pursued stoicism in creating machines which are magnificent in quality

and functionality rather than in mere appearance.

 

 

元々は、シンガポール在住の Ｍｒ．Ｄｅｎｉｓｏｎさんから ご提案頂き、本格的に

スタートした ＤＡＥＧ ＲＣＭ ＰＲＯＪＥＣＴ。 ＲＣＭ スポーツパッケージ ＴＹＰＥ-Ｒの

名を冠して、ここに堂々 完成を致しました。   一つの形として 先ずは完成を

果たしましたが、このマシン・・   これで終わりでは ありません。

ＴＹＰＥ-Ｒ アップグレード仕様としての 進化が、この後まだ 続く予定です。

We launched the DAEG RCM PROJECT on a full scale based on a suggestion

by Mr. Denison who lives in Singapore. It is now beautifully completed and

proudly named RCM Sports Package TYPE-R. The machine completed here

takes one particular shape, but this is not the end of the road. The machine

will continue to evolve in the future with more upgrades and sophistication

on the TYPE-R.

 

 

これまで 殆ど触れる事のなかった、ＤＡＥＧ・・

これからは ＲＣＭの レギュラーマシンとして 大いに発展させて行きたい・・

そんな強い興味が 後を絶ちません・・

DAEG is a machine we hardly had a chance to work on. We’d like to develop

this line as one of RCM’s regular machine. There is no end to such interests.
