ノルウェーの Ｚ１０００ＳＴ フレーム （Ｐａｒｔ-１５）

皆さん こんばんは！ サンクチュアリー本店 代表の中村です・・

ノルウェーから 依頼頂いた、Ｚ１０００ＳＴの フレーム　Ｐａｒｔ‐１５ です！

Hello everyone! This is Nakamura, Representative Director of Sanctuary’s head office. This is the part 15 of Z1000ST frame!

 

 

フレームに 前後足回り部品が 取り付けられ、ようやく車体が 立ち上がりました・・

Given the feet attached both to the front and rear of the frame, the machine has now resumed its full height.

 

 

いよいよ 最大の難関、アッパーカウリングの 取り付けに 入ります・・

Have come to the final hurdle we have to clear; fixing the upper cowling.

 

 

フレーム側には、最初の アルミ削り出しブラケットを 固定・・

Fix the first machine-cut aluminum bracket on the frame.

 

 

カウリングの 位置は、Ｏｌｅ さんから 「なるべく低く・・  前に 出っ張らない様に・・」 と

リクエストを 頂いてたんですが・・・

Sorry, Ole. You requested us to “Try best to fix the cowling at the lowest possible position and keep it from protruding”…

 

 

ステアリングを 切ると、カウリングの一部に ハンドルバーが 干渉してしまいます・・

The handle bar hits the part of the cowling when the steering is turned.

 

 

色々 組み替える事で 様々な位置に 変更できる、マルチハンドル では ありますが・・・

It’s what we call a multi handle, making for different conditions by modifying the components. For all that….

 

 

どうやら ハンドルバーの垂れ角度が 足りなくて、相性 悪い様です・・・

It appears that they are incompatible with each other. The angle between the edges is not wide enough.

 

 

アンダーカウルも あるので、どんなものか 見て見ると・・・

And the under cowling….

 

 

このままじゃ～  うまく 付きません！

付く事は 付いても カウリングが 大きすぎて、かなり 不恰好になりそう！

We are not going to make it with this! We can fix it of course, but the cowling size is too big. We can’t make it look good!

 

 

以前 Ｏｌｅ さんが 書いて来た イメージイラストを、もう一度 見てみる事に・・

Let’s check again the illustration of the image Ole drew for us.

 

 

やっぱり カウル本体を カットして かなり形状を 変えないと、こうならない 感じ・・

All the same, we feel the cowling itself has to be partly cut and reshaped to get what is drawn in the illustration.
