From USA！ RCM-500 KATANA （Part-１7）

 

こんにちは！  サンクチュアリー本店の中村です。

Hello Everyone! I am Nakamura, representative director of Sanctuary’s headquarters.

 

アメリカ ラスベガス在住、Ｍｒ.Ｄｉａｚからお預かりした ＧＳＸ１０００Ｓカタナ
（Ｐａｒｔ‐１７）です！

This is GSX1000S Katana (Part-17) shipped from Mr. A Diaz in Las Vegas!

 

 

リアホイール回りを本組みし、残す作業は前後ブレーキホースのみとなって
足回りの組み立ては完了しました。

We actually assembled the rear wheel; and except for the brake hoses, the work relating to suspension has been completed.

 

ここでオイルクーラーの組み立てに入ります。

From now, we are beginning the mounting work of an oil cooler.

 

クーラーホースの切断には、Ａｌｌｅｇｒｉ製のホースカッターを使用。
このカッターは切断面がきれいに切れる優れものです。

In order to cut hoses, we use a hose-cutter made by Allegri. This is an excellent cutter that can obtain clean cut surfaces.

 

フィッテイングはＵＳＡ ＥＡＲＬＳ社のアルミ製を用いて組み立てます。

We assemble fittings by using aluminum fittings made by USA EARLS.

 

Mr.Diazからのリクエストで、ホースは横回しのレイアウトに！
オイルクーラーの組み付け 完了です！

At the request of Mr. Diaz, hoses are laid out sideward! This is the completion of the mounting work of the oil-cooler!

 

続いてはキャブレターを組み立てましょう。

Then, we would like to assemble a carburetor.

 

キャブレターは ヨシムラミクニ製 ＴＭＲ‐ＭＪＮφ３８口径をチョイスしました。

We chose a carburetor TMR-MJNφ38 dia. made by Yoshimura-MIKUNI.

 

パーツをオリジナルカラーにアルマイト処理を施したキャブレターです！

This is a carburetor whose parts are alumite-treated in the original color!

 

 

そして・・・

何と！   Ｍｒ.Ｄｉａｚが急遽 来日されたんです！

Wow!   Mr. Diaz suddenly came to Japan!

 

コロナ禍から全く来日が出来ず、ご自身の愛機 ＲＣＭ-５００とは久々の対面です。

Due to the influence of the coronavirus crisis, he could never visit Japan; but he could meet his favorite machine, RCM-500, after a long interval.

 

今回の来日は もちろんお仕事の都合によるものでしたが、忙しい合間に時間を作って
ご来店してくれたんです。

As a matter of course, he came to Japan due to work-related issues this time; but with difficulty, he made time to come to our shop.

ここまで大変長らく製作時間が掛かったＲＣＭ-５００ですが、いよいよ今年の春から
夏にかけて完成します！
