CB1100R coming from Netherlands! (Part 16)

Hello, there! I’m Nakamura (President and Representative Director of AC
Sanctuary) posting this article from the Head Office… This is Part 16 of a
series of articles on Restomod Project for CB1100RC (with the serial number
RCM-282) commissioned by the Dutch company CMS!
前回からの 続き、 スイングアームに補強材を 溶接しております。
Continuing on from last time,
we are welding reinforcements onto the swing arm.
補強が完成！ こんな感じに なりました！
The reinforcement is complete! This is how it is now!
リアブレーキのロッドを 取り付ける マウントブラケットも、こんな感じに 溶接します
We have also welded the mounting brackets, which the rear brake rod is
mounted on, like this.
ここで スイングアームを、一旦フレームに 仮り固定します
Here, we temporarily fasten the swing arm to the frame once.
リアサスペンションと 同じ寸法の バーを用いて、スイングアーム側に
リアサスペンションの 取り付け部を 決めます
Using a bar with the same measurements as the rear suspension, we
determine the mounting area for the rear suspension on the swing-arm
side.
位置が 定まったら、リアサスペンションの 取り付け部を、溶接
Once the location has been decided, we weld the rear suspension to the
mounting area.
これで スイングアームの加工は 完了。 後は、粉黛塗装を するだけです！
With that, the swing arm processing is complete. All that is left to do after
that is the powder coating!
一方 こちらはエンジン・・ カムチェーンや プライマリーチェーンなどを、新品に交換
Meanwhile, the engine …
we exchange the cam chain and primary chain, etc., with new ones
やっと クランクケースを、合わせて閉じます・・ ここまで長い 道のりでした・・
A nd finally close the crank case …
it has been a long journey to get to this point …
ＣＭＳ社 Ｍｉｋｅさ～んっ！ 現在 ピッチを上げて、進行しております！
次回は、スイングアームが 粉黛塗装されて フレームに取り付けされ、いよいよ
前後ホイールやタイヤ等の 取り付けが 始まりますんで
