From USA！ RCM-500 KATANA （Part-3）

Hello Everyone! I am Nakamura, representative director of Sanctuary’s headquarters.

 

ラスベガス在住 Mr.A Diazからお預かりした ＧＳＸ１０００Ｓカタナ

ＲＣＭ－５００（Ｐａｒｔ‐３）です！

This is GSX1000S Katana (Part-3) shipped from Mr. A Diaz in Las Vegas!

 

LAから送られて来たエンジンを、分解中。

Disassembling the engine shipped from LA.

 

フライホイールを外してみたんですが・・・

Taking out the flywheel…

 

クランクシャフトエンド部が メチャメチャになってました（汗）

To find that the end part of the crankshaft is in a terrible situation (sweating)

 

当然 フライホイール内側も酷い状態。

恐らく走行中にフライホイールが空回りし、クランクシャフト共々

傷んでしまったのでしょう。

Naturally, inside of the flywheel is also bad, probably the flywheel spun free during the ride, which also damaged the crankshaft

 

クランクシャフトとフライホイールは、もう交換しないとダメです。

For the crankshaft and flywheel, there is no choice but to replace them

 

更に分解を進めましょう。

We keep disassembling．

 

トランスミッションの状態は 悪くなさそう！

The transmission condition seems ok!

 

クランクケース本体にも 大きなダメージは見当たりません。

There is no big damage in the crank case either．

 

最も大きい交換パーツは やはりこのクランクシャフトですね。

The largest replacing part would be this crankshaft．

 

ヘッドカバーに着いている ブローバイホースの取り付け部も

一部 欠けていたので修正が必要です。

A part of the attaching part of the blow-by hose on the head cover was missing, and needs to be fixed.

 

これはオイルフィルターのカバーです。

純正パーツではなですが これもより新式のものへと交換する予定。

This is the cover of the oil filter. This does not seem to be the original part, but we plan to change this to the newer one．
