From USA！ RCM-500 KATANA （Part-7）

Hello Everyone! I am Nakamura, representative director of Sanctuary’s headquarters.

 

 

ラスベガス在住 Mr.Diazからお預かりした、GSX1000Sカタナの

（Part-7）です！

This is GSX1000S Katana (Part-7) shipped from Mr. A Diaz in Las Vegas!

 

 

 

リアサス取り付け部を大きく変更する レイダウン加工を施すため

専用治具をフレームに固定しました。

We fixed the dedicated jigs to the frame to make big changes on the fittings on the rear suspension

 

左右サスマウントの位置や角度など 高い精度で同じにするため

慎重に組み付けを進めます。

We are proceeding with great care to align the right and left positions and make sure things are made with high precision

 

治具を取り付けたまま溶接して行き、ある程度溶接できたら治具を

外して 最後の仕上げ溶接。

Welding with the jigs fixed, then once it is roughly over, removing the jig to finish welding

 

新しいリアサスマウント部が完成しました！

The new fittings on the rear suspension are now ready!

 

車体中央側にマス集中させた位置で、リアサスの取り付け左右幅も

広い設定にしてあります。

The position has been shifted toward the center of the body for a larger width on the left and on the right

 

この時点でフレームの加工は半分ほど終了。

まだ半分も残っておりますが、一旦止めて次の段階へ進む事に。

At this point, half of the frame processing has been done. We still need to do half of the work to finish it, but we are now moving to the next step

 

 

 

ステアリングアンダーステムを取り付けて・・・

Attaching the steering bracket…

 

予定していたOHLINS製フロントフォークも取り付けます。

We are also attaching the OHLINS front suspension as we planned to

 

スイングアームも組み付け、リアサスと同じ長さのブラケットを

取り付けます。

Then also assembling the rear arm, we are attaching a bracket of the same length as the rear suspension

 

ホイールが暫定の転がし用ですけど 仮組みでローリングシャシーが

立ち上がりました。

The wheel is just temporary, but we finished assembling the rolling chassis

RCM-500の作業は いよいよ面白い所に入って来ておりますよ～！

次回は暫定でエンジン搭載しますので、お楽しみに～！
